Longtime major league outfielder Darin Erstad remains a free agent, and he says he’s comfortable no matter what shakes out this offseason.
The 35-year-old from Jamestown, N.D., played the bulk of his career with the Anaheim-turned-Los Angeles Angels, leading them to a World Series title in 2002. He remains a free agent this offseason, and does not anticipate getting anything more than a minor league offer at this point.
Erstad and his wife, Jessica, are expecting their third child to be born in March. He says family is first at this point.
